   I JUST FOUND THIS TODAY ON MONDAY, 9-13-10. I HAVE STARTED BACK TO WORK AFTER BEING OFF FOR 3 MONTHS. I HAVE GOTTEN BEHIND ON RENT, ELECTRIC, PHONE, INSURANCE, AUTO REPAIR. I AM IN NEED OF FUNDS. IF ANYONE CAN SEND $1.00 OR MORE I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT.  THE FINANCIAL PRESSURE IS BAD! I HAVE GOTTEN ALL ASSISTANCE I CAN FROM SOCIAL SERVICE AND FAMILY AND FRIENDS.  I AM GRATEFUL FOR ANY AMOUNT YOU CAN SEND OR ANY RESOURCE YOU KNOW OF AND OF COURSE YOUR PRAYERS! I AM TRYING HARD TO PREVENT AN EVICTION. I NEED ABOUT $1500, BUT WILL ACCEPT WHATEVER YOU ARE ABLE TO GIVE.

my mom passed away in may and she was my back bone, i quit working over 1 year ago to take care of her and now that she is gone i have no idea how i am going to pay the bills. they are all past due and i have no where to turn. i'm looking for a job but it's been hard to find one. i am running out of options here can someone help me.....

Hi all, I am a 30 year old mother of two and currently pregnant. Prior to the maojr recession, my husband and I decided that I should stay home while pregnant and raise the baby. She is now 11 months, I am 4 months pregnant, and I can't get a job. My husband works in sales and the recession has hit his company badly, he has lost about 1000 a month in income. Our rent was due yesterday and we don't have it, the electric and gas are due this week to avoid shutoff and we don't have it. The state of NJ only gives you help if you are 175% below the poverty level, since we are only 150% below poverty they won't help!!! I am desperate and willing to do anything to make enough money without having to spend what I make just to put my kids in daycare.  Any advise or help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I can't believe it,it happened the gas is off. As I was trying to make spaghetti for the kids! now we are hungry for a hot meal. The gas company wanted $ 953.98 to avoid it....there was no way I could come up with it. We are flat broke. Churches are strict and I just can't get the help needed. Now that the gas is cut off that means I need $1,469.02 which is due by tuesday july 7th,plus reconnection charge. I am so scared we will end up homeless. 

Thank you all that have my read my previous post but my situation has taken a new turn. I am still indebted to the paysay loan people but my main concern is that after the 6th of september I will be out on the street if I am not able to obtain some kind of help. As I have stated in my previous post I recently lost my job and I have been looking for a new job from mourning to evening for the past few days. But I have not lucked out with anything yet. I filed unemployment and I have to wait on an 8 week penalty and I am  no longer am eligible to obtain help from social service because i recently used up my 24 month period and they told me that there was nothing that they can do. I already applied for housing through the state agency but they told me that they do not have emergency housing and the waiting period can be up to 18 months and my application has been in since october of 2007. I am running out of things that I can do.One thing I am doing is keeping the faith that something will come through for me. But I am asking for some kind person to give me some help some how if it would be money, advise, websites that I can go to for help or other agencies in columbia SC that may be able to help me. If there is somebody that may assist me please respond to my post. Thank you in advance.

I am in a bit of a bind and could use some help. I have never used a site like this before but I thought I would give it a try. I had to go to an as needed basis at work in Feb (I am a CNA) because we had no clients close enough that I could work for with out spending more in gas that I was making. Since going on as needed I have had no work. Now our bills are severly behind and things are getting worse by the minute. Things are starting to be turned off and I have no idea how to stop the domino effect that is taking place. I have cut back on everything that I know how. My son is in pre-k and I have even had to keep him out of school some because I do not have enough gas to get him there and back. We have tapped out all of our resources. I am trying to sell Avon to make up for some of the loss of me not working right now but I can't seem to get enough customers to pay the bills. I could really use some help as bad as I hate asking. I have been in tears all evening and I don't know what else to do. I am hoping that I can find some relief here if only for 1 month to get us caught back up. If we only had $800 we would be caught back up and would ease some of the strain on my husband who is putting in overtime to try to make ends meet. Please help.
